David Bereit

David Bereit was called into action when Planned Parenthood announced plans to build an abortion center in his Texas hometown. Rallying a coalition of 60 churches and thousands of community members, their united efforts led to Planned Parenthood’s expulsion from local schools, a loss of taxpayer funding, and the eventual shutdown of the abortion center. As a result, Planned Parenthood labeled his town “the most anti-choice place in the nation.”

From this local victory, David’s mission expanded globally. He founded the 40 Days for Life movement which, in its first decade, grew into the world’s largest grassroots pro-life initiative. Under his leadership, 750,000 volunteers were mobilized, leading to 14,000 saved lives, the closure of 83 abortion centers, and 143 workers quitting the abortion industry. David’s dedication has been recognized with numerous pro-life awards, and he was recently distinguished as one of the “50 Greatest Pro-life Leaders of the Last 50 Years.”

Today, David heads a strategic consulting and leadership development firm, dedicated to raising up the next generation of transformative leaders and organizations. Through speaking engagements worldwide, he has inspired over a million individuals, and his insights have been spotlighted in major media outlets, from CNN to The New York Times. David holds positions on several esteemed boards and has successfully fundraised more than $90 million for pro-life and faith-driven initiatives.

This fall, David will launch “The David Bereit Show” across multiple media platforms to awaken, empower, and mobilize Christians to champion faith, family, life, liberty, and lead positive cultural change.

David, alongside Margaret, his best friend and wife of 31 years, resides in the Washington, DC area. They are blessed with two children: Sister Gloria Christi, a Nashville Dominican, and Patrick, a college student and Catholic campus ministry leader.

David Bereit’s journey illustrates the impact of answering God’s call and putting faith into action. It serves as a poignant reminder that one person’s response to a local challenge can achieve global impact.
